When? Sept. 6, 2012
What for? Running errands with Sam. A sundress is so easy — just slip it on and go! These straps are also adjustable — straight down, halter, or criss-crossed, like I did here. And with its dark floral pattern, I think I could get by with wearing this dress through fall (layered, of course, for work). What do you think?

Would you wear it over a t-shirt or with a blouse or a cardigan or blazer? I can think of so many things to try!
Yes, lots of possibilities… I’ve worn the dress over a white t-shirt before (during summer), but for fall, I’m thinking a shirt belted over it (one of my favorite tricks!), or perhaps a belted cardigan.
That sundress looks amazing on you, and it will be perfect layered for fall! A bright cardi and belt or even a chambray blouse knotted at the waist with boots – so many options!
Thanks CC! I like the idea of a chambray shirt with it, maybe belted over the dress? And boots… that IS the way to get me in the mood for fall.
I love the sundress!
Thanks! Goodness, I had almost forgotten about this dress… I’ve definitely got to think about layering this for work soon
