When? Sept. 13, 2012
What for? A lovely late summer afternoon and a casual (and delicious) dinner out at Island Cafe, a floating restaurant off Hayden Island. Thanks, Stacey @ Gray Skies for the idea and recommendation! Halfway through our meal staring lazily out at the water and sipping on mango margaritas, Sam said, “It feels like we’re on vacation.”
Fitting, then, that today I wore this linen tunic picked up while on another vacation (Thailand, a couple of years ago). And the tunic is made of linen, so it’s supposed to be wrinkled. Or at least, that’s what I tell myself. This top is soooo comfortable (love the embroidery on the front!), and no one can tell if you’ve had extra fries with dinner or not.

Love the breezy linen top and the embroidery! Sounds like you two had fun.
Thanks Carrie! If only linen didn’t wrinkle quite so easily… but still, so breathable and comfy!
I feel like I am stalking your blog but your posts are really sweet. I love your top, I would totally wear that outfit. I want that purse!! dawn suitcase vignettes
Wow, high praise! This purse is definitely one of my faves… and a steal at $20 that I picked up at a vintage and art fair on a Chicago trip years ago. The cost-per-wear is like fractions of pennies by now.
